A handful of NPCs are dotted around, and most require your assistance in some way their conversations may hint at what is required of you, but sometimes there may be environmental clues that need to be utilized to figure out what to do. The game is predominantly a narrative experience, with your character exploring the tiny world outside and solving some rudimentary puzzles. After receiving a few vials from a floating vagina monster, you begin your journey to search for some liquidy goodness to feed the sacred floating tree, which will determine the fate of the world. Our protagonist is dumped inside a strange building with nothing but a note in their inventory, which will clue you in as to how to proceed further.
For those who are not up on their Latin, Fatum Betula translates to ‘Birch Fate’, which sums up the whole point of the game.
